Thursday evening New York Pick ups at Port Authority (8:15 PM), Penn Station (8:25 PM) and White Plains (9:25 PM). We will overnight in East Hartford and proceed to Quebec City on Friday morning. Trip arranged by Cultural Hi-Ways a member of the National Tour Association.

    • Site of the 1993 World Cub
    • 300 acres skiable area
    • Largest night skiing network in Canada (185 acres lit up)
    • Alpine and cross country skiing as well as snowboarding (half pipe, terrain park)
    • 27 trails spread over 4 mountains
    • Longest run: 10,502 feet
    • Trails range from easy to experts
    • Trails are protected from winds (better snow quality and overall comfort)
  • Prices (Feb. 2000):
    • Individual student price: $11 (if there are 20+ people, we will get further reduction)
    • Ski rental: $7,70
    • Snowboard rental: $9,80
Schedule*:
  • Day 1: You’ll depart from you choice of pickup locations early this morning. Late this afternoon you’ll arrivein Quebec City where you’ll spend the next 2 nights at you centrally located hotel situated in the hearat of the city’s downtown. Your visit coincides with Quebec’s world famous winter carnival! As you’ll soon discover, laughter and good times rule! You’re free to explore this very European city, toboggan alongside the St. Lawrence River, or sample the local nightlife! (Note: If you depart from Conneticut, New Jersey, New York City or Pennsylvania, you’ll leave the evening before and overnight in a comfortable hotel in East Hartford, Conneticut)
  • Day 2: You’ll enjoy a tour of Quebec City conducted by a knowledgeable local guide. Among the many sights you’ll experience is Montmorency Falls, an awesome waterfall that’s higher than Niagra! Later this afternoon we’ll drop off all those interested at Stoneham Ski Resort, site of the 1993 World Cup. Whatever you do, Carnival is a time for merrymaking in the streets as well as ice and snow sculptures that will take you breath away!
  • Day 3: After breakfeast, it will be time to bid “au revoir” and depart the city. You’ll arrive back home late in the day.
