During this class students can improve English skills while learning about American culture and history. A teacher coordinates trips to six popular cultural and historical sites in and around Boston. Students should write two pages about each museum trip.

During this course you learn more about how the computer changed communication, shopping or education opportunities. A script tells you most of the must-know facts and you practice your skills with the assignments.
10 Assignments including a scavenger hunt, building your own Homepage, planning a Trip (online), a power point presentation or how to buy a computer.

This course will provide an opportunity to research and experience cultural opportunities that are unique to various regions in the United States. You receive a booklet with informations about the different regions and email your assignments to your teacher.
Assignments
– Describe your region, compared to other regions in the US
– 15 things that are important to your region (art, music, recreation, history and food)
– participate in 5 activities and write a one page essay
– watch 2 movies (one regional and one from another region) and compare them
